Soft-boil eggs: cook in boiling water 7 minutes, then transfer to ice bath. Peel and halve.

Bring water to a boil. Add ramen noodles and cook 2 minutes.

Remove noodles and transfer half the broth to serving bowls.

Whisk miso paste into the hot broth until dissolved. Add soy sauce.

Pour broth into bowls. Add noodles.

Top with halved soft-boiled eggs, sliced green onions, and a drizzle of sesame oil.
